If you've ever dealt with your kid's fundraisers you know how much of a hassle they can be. Besides having to walk door to door selling stuff most people do not want, you also usually have to handle and be responsible for money and deliver the products. Raising money for your organization can and should be a whole lot easier. That's where iSold It comes in.

With iSold It members of your organization can simply go through their home and finf any unwanted items that are cluttering their house and we'll put the items up on eBay. Your items will instantly reach the eyes of millions around the globe. That huge international audience can drive up sales prices by up to 40%!

Don't worry about us taking all of your profits, either. With iSold It's fundraisers 70-80% of all proceeds go directly to the organization, not the 20-50% offered by most fundraising programs. Plus, all of the donors will receive links to the items so that they can track the progress of the fundraiser right from their computer.

Stop bothering your friends and relatives. Instead of asking them to buy things they don't want sell stuff to people across the globe to people who actually want to buy it. No more taking purchase orders, handling cash, or distributing merchandise. Let iSold It handle all of the dirty work and you can sit back, relax, and raise the funds your organization needs without the hassles.

Want Your Stuff To Sell? Follow These Steps PDF Print E-mail

Every day we get people asking what sells on eBay and what can they do to help insure that their item sells. There are a few things to keep in mind when gathering stuff to have us list for you on eBay.

The most important thing to look for in an item is its condition. Is it brand new or does it have scratches, cracks, and dings? Is it fully functional or does it only work some of the time? These are important questions you need to answer. Items that are in great condition and are in perfect working condition are going to be more likely to sell and will sell for more money. eBay shoppers look for the condition of the item first and foremost. Just because they're looking for a good deal doesn't mean they want to buy an item that has something wrong with it. Also, dirt and dust is a big deal buster. Take the time to clean the items thoroughly while making sure not to damage the item.

Secondly, to make your listing complete and to get more people interested in your item be sure to include all of the original packaging as well as any accessories that might come with it. This is especially important if the item is a collectable. In that instance it is also a good thing to have any types of certificates of authenticity with the item. People want to know that what you're selling is genuine and  including original packaging and COA's is a great way to show them that it is.

Finally, determine if the item is fit to ship. While very large items can and do sell on eBay all the time, they are mostly limited to a local sales audience. If the item is under 150 pounds and can fit in a box it will have a much better chance of selling at a higher market price.

Keep these tips in mind when gathering stuff to sell on eBay.  If you have questions about your item, or are unsure if it is worth listing, you can contact us and even have your item appraised online for free

10 Tips on How to Make Money This Holiday Season PDF Print E-mail

While the holidays are usually associated with "Buy Buy Buy" many of us are struggling to keep up with our finances and things like rent and insurance payments. By changing your mindset to "Sell Sell Sell" you can not only help yourself to pay off those bills, you can also make some quick cash to buy gifts for your friends and family while making room for any new gifts you might be getting.

Here are some tips on what to look for that might be worth selling:

1. Check your closets for designer jackets, pants, and shirts that you barely or never wore.
2. Have a few too many pairs of shoes? Those shoes that never left the box could be turned into cash.
3. Are you a musician with loads of gear and instruments? You can probably make a nice chunk of change by clearing the garage of your extra amps, guitars, and the stuff your roadies (or you) never seem to use.
4. Did you upgrade your home entertainment system on Black Friday? Electronics are almost always hot items this time of year.
5. That new Droid phone is awesome, but what about your iPhone? Don't let it collect dust! That can add a little weight to your wallet.
6. Do you get a new handbag (or several of them) every year as gifts? Sort through the ones that you never use and fill the ones you do use with a little extra money.
7. Did you ask Santa for the latest and greatest camera? Photography equipment can fetch a nice price.
8. Have a bunch of collectibles cluttering up your living room? Make room for the Christmas tree and get rid of those ancient figurines.
9. Your kids have moved out and started college...but their rooms are still full of stuff. Jackpot! Go through the stuff that they didn't touch for years and turn them into money. If they complain when they come back to visit tell them it went to pay for their dorm and meal plan.
10. Has your Christmas tree become overwhelmed with ornaments? Pick out the ones that have made their way to the back of your tree. They could turn into a few dollars, or more, each.

There are plenty of ways that you can make money just by looking through your home. Help yourself in these tough economic times and take advantage of the hottest selling time of the year.

If you're worried that you don't have the time or knowledge to sell these on eBay don't sweat! That's what we're here for. You wont even have to photograph the items or ship them out. Just drop them off with us and when it sell you get the money. Best of all, you pay us nothing until your item sells! And, we've gotten into the holiday spirit as well by teaming up with Metropolitan Ministries. Bring us any non-perishable food items to help feed the Bay area's hungry and we'll give you $5 off our fees.
