EBay Inc. rose the most in three months in Nasdaq trading after second-quarter earnings and a forecast for the current period topped analysts’ estimates, a sign that buyers and sellers are returning to the site.  The results show that consumers’ appetite for online commerce is starting to recover, said David Rudow, an analyst at Thrivent Asset Management in Minneapolis.  “This is showing people are slowly starting to spend again,” said Rudow, who helps oversee about $69 billion, including EBay shares. “This is an indication the consumer is peaking his head out, looking for deals.”

It’s about time we got some positive news : )
